Darkstalker (Wings of Fire: Legends)

Ok, guys, this is my FIRST EVER wof fanfic comment! I make lots of fanfics in my head, but never really write them down because I'm TO lazy! Hope y'all enjoy this one! So excited to continue the series. Notes about the actual series: -O. M. G fathom changed me! And darkstalker POV'S are life changing too!! -Should tui add Daywings?? I have no clue what their scale combo would be... But I bet the tribe would be fun to make up! -Ok so this isn't about this book lol... But I just finished: Runaway, winglets number four, and THREE CAMEL BLASTED, MANGO DRINKING, SUN OF AN ANTELOPES THERD MOTHER it was breath taking!!! You must read it if you are interested in Prince Arctics back story!! (He's actually really sweet in the first couple chapters lol!) Anyway!! Enough about my core Wings Of Fire addiction, and on to the fanfic! (This entire comment took about 30 minutes; hehe... So feel free to comment your ideas too! Btw, any of this work is completely free in case anyone wants to use tribe or character design ideas. Go ahead!) Enjoy pookies! <333 It was cold. That was really the only thing told herself the whole time. She didn't talk to any dragon, and know that she thought about it, she barely even looked at any other dragon at all. She was to focused on how exactly she was going to murder her idiotic guard, and then the queen of the IceWings, Queen SnowLeapord the ||. She snickerd as she thought of the horrified look on that stupid, ugly, long snouted, prince of the IceWings face when she drove her talons into his mothers stone cold heart. She glared down at her food bowl, it was quite terrifying, knowing the stupid IceWings weren't even giving her NightWing food, (for a NightWing) and instead there was a half-eaten lynx corps lying in her bowl. She rinkled her snout. "There is no way I'm eating this rubbish!" She yelled at her guard. "Yes well, either that or starve, I don't care, so pick and chose." The guard spat back. MidMoon rolled her eyes. "Fine, then I guess my plan will come in sooner then expected." She smiled at the guard sweetly. "... W-what do you mean..."plan"?" MidMoon started sharpening her claws on the stone walls of her ice prison, "The plan that involves murdering you, and your pathetic Queen." Eek!! So, I finally read it after so long, and oh my gods the characters! I love them all! Tbh, it wasn’t an enjoyable read (I’ve finished the main series and know how things end up, so it was like watching a train wreck when you know how bad it’s going to be) but it was a great read. I don’t know if that makes sense lol. My favorite character is probably Whiteout. I love her so much and she reminds me of me (I don’t talk like that, but I can understand her because part of me thinks like that). Seconded by Darkstalker, cus I’m a huge fan of traumatic characters, villains, and especially those who are both ^^ Fathom was okay, he just reminded me a little bit too much of Turtle and I hate Turtle (no hate to those who like him, I just have high standards with my favorite characters). Indigo on the other hand was amazing and I loved her, Listener too. Which brings me to Clearsight. I never really liked Clearsight in the main series (which isn’t fair cuz she isn’t in it very much), but I loved her in this book. BUT I do kinda think Darkstalker could have been redeemed as Darkstalker. I was pretty sad and upset when Clearsight put the bracelet on him. Like, yeah, he was “evil,” but the tribes would probably never have fought again under his rule. Hmm. Maybe I’ll write an AU fanfic of what would’ve happened if Clearsight had agreed with Darkstalker’s plan. I’m sure tons of people have already done that, though. Also, I think the Darkstalker graphic novel might be the first WoF graphic novel I read because I NEED TO SEE WHITEOUT. She sounded so pretty!!! - Shimmer

Darkstalker, Clearsight, and Fathom. You have changed me. I drew this cover, by hand, because one of my brothers friends asked me to. I was happy to show off my mad skills… I did copy it in our printer, it was so amazing. I have never seen that drawing again. It made me stare at Darkstalkers face for over an hour contemplating his whole story. He could have been so happy with Clearsight. But he was to clever, and wanted to much. This is a great book and helps with the complexity of his story, as well as seeing the true Clearsight, she’s so sweet but so troubled by her amazing gift. The fact that they didn’t get to stay together is sooooo heartbreaking, but then again it was for the best. Now we have Cricket, and the hivewings. But that’s a story for another time. This book is amazing and I hope I can experience it in a new way when the graphic novel comes out. -Pearlescent Oh and never forget Whiteout!! She’s so interesting and funny in her own way. Love her!!!!

Although Darkstalker is now a Nightwing/Rainwing hybrid and now goes by the name Peacemaker, here’s a tip for him he should of used when he saw Turtle after being free: Use your magic for good stuff NOT BAD STUFF! Maybe you wouldn’t of become evil, BOZO.

This book series had impressed me in so many ways. I have read the whole series three times and have loved it each time. It this book there was a lesson that popped out at me. Nobody is evil. Yes, some people do bad things but it always comes from a reason or place in their heart. After all, the future is in your hands now, and you can do anything you want to do. ❤️🖤

This book made me cry!

Normally I don’t do big fancy mature reviews but this one deserves it!! FIFTEEN MILLION STARS ALL THE WAY. THATS WHAT THIS BOOK DESERVES. FIFTEEN. MILLION. STARS. I absolutely love Indigo and Whiteout, they’re so cute! I also love Fathom’s character development, it was really well written. Darkstalker’s too. But my opinions on Pearl and Lagoon: “you little bi—” like I can understand the whole banning animus to protect your kingdom, but KEEPING INDIGO FROM FATHOM WAS DOWNRIGHT SINFUL. I WILL MURDER YOU AND HAUNT YOUR NIGHTMARES FOREVER. My psychoticness aside, let just tell you that for being a history-type book this one is a banger. If I had a list of books I would sell my soul to read again for the first time, this one would take home the gold. It’s surprisingly underrated. The plot was well done, the character development was spot on (hem hem, LISTENER, hem hem), but above all I just love HOW Tui tells the story more than anything. It’s warm and cozy like an actual story, not monotonical and boring like a textbook. What really sets this book apart from the others in this series is the fact that instead of being cliche typical, Tui is writing from the heart—and as a fellow author this is something I can vouch for as difficult to do, especially if the story being written is the first in a series (or a standalone) and there’s a ton of world-building to construct. So, all in all, five stars, and Tui? Love you forever. NOW JUST COME OUT WITH BOOK SIXTEEN ALREADY IM DYING OF BOREDOM I REREAD YOUR ENTIRE SERIES LIKE TEN TIMES AHHHHH Izkitty the crazy 😉
