    I honestly loved The Hiding Place and have seen it on tv. When reading this book you have to really put yourselves in the characters shoes. It was so much fun reading this but I have to admit it did get a little boring at the end. Otherwise, AMAZING BOOK! 5:5!

    The thread throughout was the reading of the Bible. Not, the Old Testament, but through Jesus and Christianity. This book told the story of concentration camps and imprisonment and family. The house in Holland, where it all started, was a watchmaker’s home and business and because a shelter for those, Jewish or not, who needed protection from the German army’s invasion.

    I’ve read the hard copy & the digital library copy at least a hundred times, and they digital library copy is just that - a copy. This ebook is not a complete copy of the original. In the first chapter alone so much of the charming richness of Corrie’s story has been left out. I will be deleting & requesting a refund.

    I just love this book it's too hard to describe it really gives you hope in the darkest moments and reminds you that our God the Father gave his life to us and we waste that privilege and don't know it and it's a tragedy for the person who DOESN'T READ THIS BOOK!!! It brings you to tears but at that moment reminds you that God is with us whenever you need him he's right there and I'm sure heaven had a party when Corrie ten boom died, I wish I was there when that happened but just at least try the sample it's good from the first sentence believe me.
