When a delayed flight leaves Daphne stranded overnight in Chania — Crete's Venetian harbour city — she decides to make the most of the unexpected stopover. But what begins as a chance to wander the quaint alleyways, savour local Greek cooking and watch the sunset over the famous lighthouse, soon takes a darker turn... 

As twilight falls over the Old Town, Daphne finds herself alone in a labyrinth of narrow lanes and shuttered shops — with a dark figure shadowing her every move. Lost in unfamiliar streets with no one to turn to, can Daphne outwit a stalker who knows this city far better than she does — and who has no intention of letting her go?
