    Oh my goodness, just finished The Barlows. In awe of The Seaside Saga’s mastery of characters. The way DeMaio explores the emotional aftereffects of a pivotal situation here was brilliant. Couples + friends come together in the most heartwarming way. And then I was left breathless at the ending. Cannot wait for The Visitor. I never know what’s going to happen next.

    I’ve read this entire series, I feel attached to the characters. I feel the last few books in the series has progressively gotten worse in not advancing the story. This entire book focused on what was nothing, but a deer running out in the road. No accident, no injury yet the author focused on it and beat it with a stick. Incredibly disappointing.
