It wasn’t all bad: the chemistry, the personalities, the FMC’s point-of-view, everything’s good. It’s just that one pet peeve though: why name your private area Ralph?… I can’t be only one who thinks that weird, right? Besides that, a pretty good book.
  • When I first read this book it was back in 79-80. It was my first book of actual sex

I was about 11-12 back then. I loved and grew up with Judy Blume through my grade school years and could relate to many of her characters. When I read Forever for the first time it was full of innocence and reading about how a relationship grew into love. I thought it was weird at the time for the name of his penis but as I matured into teenage years and now past middle age. I look back to the innocence of it back then and how messed up and confused our society has become

This book was super good and I don’t regret reading it at all but there are just a few things I would change. First of all, it’s a little bit cringe. I say that only because of the fact the Michael named his penis “Ralph”. I couldn’t stand it. It’s also a little descriptive but it didn’t bother me that much. Also, I’m more attracted to male brunettes than red heads but whatever. Judy Blume is still my favorite author and this book is still great. But I don’t recommend reading this if your under the age of thirteen.
  • Judy Blume classic

The 1 star reviews are a complete reach... this book is told from a teenage girl point of view. The relationship she’s in is her first “true love.” So of course its going to be descriptive and a tad bit hopeless... I read this book for the first time in the 6th grade, and I understood the time period of this book was indeed written during the 70s. I think this is a good read for young teens... if you’re above the age 18 don’t waste your time.

I read this book for a banned book project when I was in college. Even though it does deal with teen sexuality it’s not as graphic as Fifty Shades of Grey. Plus the author wrote it for her daughter who had AIDS.
  • DO NOT GET

The main character,Katherine never learned a valuable lesson, anything in her old life practically disappeared and replaced with her boyfriend, Michael which in the end they broke it off,and there isn’t any obstacles in there relationship that strengthens it and there for result in their easy break up and in the end it is not worth the $9.73 removed from your hard earned money.

I did not like this book at all. Too many privileged rich kids with toxic personalities. None of the characters were like-able. I finished it in 8 hours because I thought that eventually it would get better but it actually got worse. Not worth it. VERY VERY outdated.

I read this book and though it was okay. Some parts were inappropriate though, so it should be a 15+ book. I got it at the library in the kids section!! Five year olds could be reading about this stuff! I do recommend it though.

This book is disgusting Judy Blume is WAAAAAAAYYY too discriptive about Michaeal’s ‘Ralph’ (his p****s) and I don’t know why this was published I hated this book. This is very outdated and there are many new things about sex and birth control PLEASE STOP 🛑 printing this book!!!
