    Years and years ago the author Craig Johnson visited Amarillo Texas for a lecture and book review of his Longmire books at the local library. He came across as a man of good ethics, respect for people, a regard for the law and honesty and trust, and an ornery guy with a great sense of humor and a lot of stories to spin! His writing style is superb and you can identify characters by the way they speak in the book without him having to tell you that he said or she said. He gets a thumbs up in my book which is actually his book.

  • I always enjoy reading Longmire. It’s kind of close to home.
