A Practitioner’s Guide to Leadership explores pragmatic lessons in leadership from diverse sources that have been experienced, learned and shared over my 40+ year career. This book, perhaps different from other books on leadership that center on concepts and theory, sometimes void of practical application, relates lessons from real-life examples of leadership. While the book focuses on real life examples of leadership, the subject does require devoting some attention to relating the lessons to key leadership values, principles and concepts. Where necessary, this has been done to illustrate many of the powerful attributes that make up great leaders.
